The Fall of the Berlin Wall 2009
History November 9th, 2009
The Berlin Wall was built in 1961 to separate East and West Germany. Life in East Germany was strict and very different to life in West Germany. On the 9th November 1989, the people decided that they didn’t want this wall anymore and they got together to pull it down.
Today 20 years later they celebrated this historical event with the fall of a wall of giant dominoes painted by school children and artists around the world. The result was impressive!!

If you pause the video in the minute 40 you can see the block made by an spanish artist. It´s a funny face with the spanish flag in his cheeks.
