Have you seen the film “How To Train a Dragon” ? It’s about a boy who lives in a place where dragons are an everyday hazard.
The film, like many good films, is based on a book.

I’ve just been to the cinema to see this great new film by Tim Burton. The characters are quite peculiar and a little bit mad, but their characterization is fantastic with wonderful costumes and make up and stunning special effects. Tim Burton keeps to his unique style in this film and it’s not your traditional Disney film but I think the story of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carroll works very well here. I absolutely loved it!

A volcano in Iceland has errupted after being dormant for 200 years. Strong winds are blowing the cloud of volcanic ash from Iceland to Europe and all airports in the North of Europe have been closed. This is because the volcanic ash in the air can stop the engines of planes and cause serious damage.

Today is the anniversary of the death of Pablo Picasso.
He was born in Malaga, Spain and he died on the 8th April, 1973. Pablo Picasso is one of the most famous Spaniards in the world. He revolutionized painting and sculpture and many of his works of art are instantly recognizable because of his original style.
When he was 10 years old Picasso came to A Coruña with his family and he lived here for five years. He went to the School of Art in A Coruña and he lived in a house in Payo Gómez Street, near the Plaza Pontevedra. This house has been restored and is now a museum that can be visited.
